Dresses for Haiti

Its been a long time. But I've been busy with some new things  I've been sewing peasant dresses for Haiti.

 I've had alot of fun ..with all the different materials. And also knowing they are going to kids that need them is a great feeling .

So Excited .... :)

So excited a Photographer in Nebraska bought one of my hats and suspenders on Etsy  And  had a photo shoot for a little 4yr old that just signed on with an Agency... She sent me a photo

Then she had another photo shoot for this cute boy..

Been making some really cute ties for the boys  , A few weeks ago We had our pictures taken for the Church directory and I let them pick out the material for the ties .
They thought that was a lot of fun !
 And the look on their faces is PRICELESS......... .....when I ask them to try them on.


Also I had them pick out some material for their Easter ties !!  photos to come !

2012 Has come and gone

Wow! It's been since Feb. that I've been on here.
 Kinda sad considering I've done soo many new things since then.
 We planted a huge garden with our neighbors. Planted all sorts of stuff. It was so much fun eating different stuff that we never had before .

 Rons parents came for a visit . His Dad made the kids bunkbeds and it seems like his mom and I canned all summer.  I made applesause, relish, salsa. all kinds of jam , beets, pickles, I even added jalapenos to her famous relish recipe  turned out really good .We also did a Relish demo at church for Heritage Days   Everybody liked the relish and the one with jalapenos also

  I had an old friend come visit October . We had a great time stayed up late talked and laughed remembering old times..I wish she lived closer I wish she could have stayed longer   On another note !!

The Kids are growing way to fast,  Josiah turned 5 last friday Jeremiah will be 3 in Feb  where has the time gone? As I reflect in the time that has passed I can't help but wonder what life has in store for us ..I'm teaching the kids how to speak spanish I can't say its going great..  But, I will keep trying .
  I love my job have been working 3 days a week . I love being able to stay at home with the kids having so much fun watching them grow and learn Teaching them songs that my dad would sing  and now almost everynight before they go to bed ,They ask me to sing whelos song " Emos venido senor a tu casa "

Wow! It's been about 8 years since I put up a Christmas tree . And yes I will say Christmas tree ! hahah

I figure it was time especially because, Josiah is going to be 4 and is Sooo excited for Christmas. He says, "Is it Cwismas yet Mama "

I'm really surprised they haven't messed with it. We had so much fun putting it up the other night. He even help me make some of the ornaments! When i was gluing the beads on he said they looked like Rudolph. Jeremiah also helped alittle. Its going to be great with Jeremiah also He'll be 2 in Feb.
